The ghettos are full of people who grew up with no fathers at home. The ghettos are full of broke families and drug addiction. It's full of alcoholism. And I think about this. How many mothers know WHO the fathers of their children are?
There was an incident in Dayton, OH where a woman accidentally married her father. She tried to do good and become a wife. How does a woman accidentally marry her father? She didn't know who her father was. And this woman was 60 years old at the time. Given the age of that man, who was 75, he likely fathered her in 1952.

Vermont also has some of the most permissive guns in Australia as well. It's always been a low murder state. Mississippi has always been one of the most murderous states in America. This goes all the way back to the 19th century. The South over all has been a more murderous region than the rest of the USA. Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, etc.

The thing, more stuff like this goes on than we know. And in many cases the mother doesn't know who the father of the child is. For this reason, cases of someone unknowingly procreating with a relative can happen. Technically, you need a blood test to get married. However, nonmarital sex is rampant.

Voter participation is much higher among the law-abiding types than criminals. It's not likely that said shooter is even registered to vote. I think you're just using the term "Democrat voter" as a dog whistle term for Black persons.
This has happened in republican cities, it just happens a hell of a lot more in cities that are soft on crime, aka, democrat cities.

This even happened in a small Republican city. Tupelo is a Republican city. Its population is around 37,923. It's small. It doesn't fit the mold of "big, Democrat city".
That criminal has been a career criminal. Mississippi is a Republican state that is often tougher on crime than most states. It didn't stop that thug.
It may be a Republican state but it has a huge black population and we all know that crime snd violence is the highest among that population.
The difference here is that if caught he most certainly will get his justified punishment whereas if in a blue state, he might walk free or get a lighter sentence.
Apart from the death penalty, what do you suggest Mississippi do? According to you, race is the problem. So what do you want to see done?
