And when the US starts buying additional oil than we're consuming to refill those tanks that were emptied, guess what happens to the price of oil/gasoline? (hint: it'll go up!)
“I think the market should be freaking out” about the end of SPR sales, said Phil Flynn of Chicago’s Price Futures Group. “I think when the releases end, it’s going to have the impact of losing a major producer — it will really tighten supplies.”
He promised Europe that the US would give them oil for as long as the Ukraine war lasted.
Only no one thought it would last this long.
I think the war in Ukraine will last until Ukraine falls, or concedes a lot of territory to the Russians. The Russians will never let go of Ukraine. I could see an East/West Ukraine to be honest. The unipolar world is over. A new bipolar/tripolar world order is setting up.
Down the road, Poland probably wants old Polish lands from Ukraine too.

So, the President is kicking the can down the curb (past the Midterm), rather than coming up with a more permanent solution to solve our oil crisis?
Biden already told us his solution...go buy an EV car. He gave you "credits".
We're going to have Lithium shortages, probably Cobalt and Nickel too.
If we think there are supply chain shortages now, imagine what happens when we can't get enough rare earth minerals at a time when we've legislated that everyone must own an EV by 2035, along with all of our other battery powered devices!

It's going to get really ugly, really soon.
And charging stations...not like there's one on every corner.
Biden wants to end our use of oil and gas in favor of unreliable and insufficient green energy.
People should be up in arms more than they are right now.
No one should even be listening to your nonsense here.
Yup he is a Piece of trash. And trying to do it to drive down prices in hopes if getting enough votes for dems to keep the house and gain senate seats on November 8 so they can then really become anti fossil fuel and ban them outright. Where as if dems do not control both chambers, they cannot get much if anything done except maybe some restrictions of drilling for fossil fuels on federal land.
Though glad he's waiting until November cause that is a wee bit too late as election is November 8 and that is not near enough time for prices at pump to go down fast enough to fool enough voters in hopes of having the evil left keep the house and gain 2 or more senate seats.

Yeah maybe Biden knows the dems having power of both chambers of congress is a longshot so trying to hurt us by doing this to drive prices down briefly than have them soar as he knows he will not have the congress to have votes to be so anti-fossil fuels most likely after November 8 midterms.
This temporary cheap band-aide is 'VERY RISKY' and puts our defense grid at Risk.
I cant' think of many more ways this MORON has endangered American Lives (he couldn't do any worse if he tried).
