I am really failing to understand the appeal of Lieutenant Governor Fetter"woman"...

#1, He is a creep! He looks like a villain you would see on a Scooby-Doo cartoon!

#2, He dresses unprofessionally. Will he walk the halls of the Senate in a sweatshirt, should he be elected?

#3, He is a radical Progressive, as evidenced by his support of emptying prisons. Clearly, Dr. Oz is the more moderate candidate, in this race.

#4, He is "damaged goods". He still has many issues surrounding his stroke. He should be focusing on his health.

From the article:

"I hope that it could lead to a conversation that would free close to 1,200 people of a legacy that never made sense, that encompasses victims' input, encompasses their conduct and behavior in prison, it takes a look at the resources that are wasted that…," he said.

At the time, PLSE reported that there were 1,166 people incarcerated in the state serving life sentences without parole for second-degree murder.

He said that folks serving life for murder second should be considered for parole.

Then Fox News put its spin on his remarks and some here fell for it. True nothing burger.

Epic fail.

I do not disagree with your assertion. Personally, I am not a fan of either Dr. Oz or Lieutenant Governor Fetterman. However, I do not understand how a rational person could vote for someone that supports releasing all criminals convicted of second degree murder. He is certainly not your grandfather's Democrat...

I’m trying to think about the Democrat viewpoint and rebuttal to this:

1. He looks strong and tough and unlike many of the stereotypical beta male Democratic Socialists! Fetterman is SO COOL!
2. His style is SO COOL! Besides, Congress could use someone who bends the rules, thinks outside of the box, and colors outside of the lines (or whatever). Plus, Fetterman is COOL!
3. Fetterman is “for the little guy.” His views would be considered right-leaning in Europe! Did I mention that Fetterman is SO COOL!
4. Why are you picking on his medical condition? Democrats value DIVERSITY, even if it means the candidate can’t really perform their job. WTF, are you a hater? Fetterman is COOL! He really put Braddock on the map!

Heh. But I do remember Democrats talking about how COOL and UNCONVENTIONAL Fetterman is/was when he was mayor of Braddock, even though he didn’t accomplish much other than what, a carbon tax?

Besides, prisons need to be emptied, because equity! There is something wrong with you if you have a problem with an increase in crime (caused by COVID, of course, not caused by Democrat policy).

Is that what he said.

He said 2nd Degree Murder Felons should be given a hearing if they didn't actually kill someone.

I do think given the culture with repeat violent offenders it is an unusual campaign issue to fight for...no doubt about that.

Really? What is ethical about an adult who mooches off his parents and wants to set violent criminals free?
