This is why Donna Lemon is being "promoted" to a morning slot. He had absolutely no counter for that.
That was his downfall.

Liberals live in their own bubble. They don't want to hear the truth about the origins of slavery, climate change, Russian collusion, transgenderism, or any other radicalized issue used to control them.

we've been told that white people are scared to speak the entire truth of slavery. that we want to whitewash it and act like it never happened. Sounds like - based on but one quick answer - that woman welcomes a full discussion of slavery.

Liberals can't handle the truth, so they invent their own. That was beautiful to behold, but I guarantee not one Donna Lemon fan will change their made-up mind about slavery after watching that.

Don Lemon is pretty ignorant of what he was asking or proposing to that lady. I think these guys need to do their homework.

As a side note what is going on with the guy, he looks kind of bad, skinny, gaunt, looked like he's aged a bunch of years. I wonder if he's been sick or something. It's noticeable every time I see the guy.

Britons were slaves for the best part of thousand years under the Romans, Vikings, Anglo Saxons and Normans, they saw off invasion in 1588 (Spanish Armada), in 1779 when the French, Spanish and Dutch planned an invasion, in 1803 to 1805 when Napoleon planned to invade and in 1940, when Germany attempted to invade.

In World War 2 one in every six Londoners was made homeless at some point during the Luftwaffe Blitz, and at least 1.1 million houses were destroyed, however no one is suggesting Germany pay, and that's because previous attempts by the French to punish Germany at the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, led to poverty and misery in Germany and this led to the rise of fascism and the Nazi Party led by Adolf Hitler. So trying to punish people for events in the past can be a very dangerous road to go down.

Given the property value today, I would suggest that the property damaged in the UK by Germany runs in to the trillions, however as stated it's not something Britain is interested in pursuing, however Poland is currently demanding €1.3tn in war reparations from Germany, something the Germans have totally rejected.

Anyone who believes that will be reparations is sadly deluded and I suggest they watch the video I posted earlier in the thread Post 18, when the British author and political commentator Douglas Murray destroys the reparations myth.

Lemon squeezed! CNN host is stunned into silence when royal commentator says African kings - not British royals - should pay reparations for slavery because 'THEY rounded up their own people and had them waiting in cages on the beaches' - Daily Mail

* CNN host Don Lemon was stunned into silence by royal commentator's remarks

* Lemon interviewed Hilary Fordwich last week, in a clip that went viral on Tuesday

* CNN host asked whether the British royal family should pay slavery reparations

* But Fordwich questioned his reasoning and placed the blame on African leaders

* She argued that any reparations should be paid by descendants of 'African kings'

White people don't talk about slavery because so few of them were descendants of slave owners. It's a part of history like any other and not really significant in the grand scheme of things as it relates them. For example, a lot of Americans are 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation and their ancestors came here long after slavery was abolished. What purpose would they have to talk about slavery? What expertise would they even have to offer? Probably not much if all they know about slavery is what they saw on television.

Slavery was also used mostly by the rich. Whites benefited from cheap cotton, sugar and other agricultural commodities, but so did the rest of the world. The vast majority of whites had nothing to do with slavery. On the other hand, the majority of African Americans are likely descendants of slaves, so it's a much bigger part of their history.

The Europeans tried to enslave Native Americans, but it did not work. They typically died very quickly in captivity. Since this practice proved to be unprofitable, they brought African slaves instead.

When the European settlers came, they often traded stuff they had for land. They often traded slaves for land, and that's how some natives came to be slave owners. There were also African American slave owners.

America acts like we were the main recipient of the slave trade. In a 300 year period, America received 315k slaves or 3% of the entire slave trade. Most of those slaves that came to America were second hand slaves that came from the Carribean.
