"The FBI is sidelining investigations into child sexual abuse in order to pursue January 6 probes and is inflating the number of “domestic extremism” cases across the country, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee claimed in a letter Monday, citing whistleblowers.
The committee’s letter was spearheaded by ranking member Jim Jordan, and was addressed to FBI Director Christopher A. Wray. It comes on the heels of another committee letter that cited whistleblowers claiming the FBI was “pressuring agents” to label cases as “domestic violent extremism” even when they didn’t meet the criteria for the definition."
I really hope that the FBI top levels get fired for this abuse of their power. Yeah, the idiots that entered the capitol building Jan 6 deserve to be punished but so do the ones who traffic children and sexually abuse them. Crossing state lines with a child or to have sex with on is a federal crime.
All this division and hate the FBI is drumming up under Biden's DOJ's orders is creating situations like we saw recently where that kid from ND got run over and killed by a middle aged man just because he thought the kid was part of a "right wing extremist" group. They've got people killing people over a mostly false narrative that they're amplifying for political reasons. That ain't right and shouldn't be rewarded at the voting booth.
