There is no common sense in the Democratic Party. It just shocks me how foolish and stupid these politicians are. Just look at the news how many are killed every weekend in Chicago.
But it sure wouldn't be that hard to move Headquarters to Raleigh N.Carolina, or Columbia, S.Carolina, or Nashville, Tenn, or Omaha, Nebraska, or ....???
McDonald's actually moved it's headquarters from the Chicago suburbs in Oak Brook to Chicago in 2018 ... I think their lease is up next year.
If things don't get better ... well .. I hope they move again.

The work I know she has performed in the city: Relatively scandal-free administration, hiring of exemplary subordinates, great leadership during the pandemic, maintenance of a sense of humor(most times).

Why would you ever hope that? That certainly sounds mean spirited.

Why would I hope that if crime in Chgo doesn’t get better that McDonald’s Corp gets the hell out?

I credit the chief of police (I think he's called superintendent) with doing a good job in a bad situation. The mayor chose him and has worked closely with him during his tenure.
Those outside the city hear only of criminal incidents -- I remain surprised at the level of ignorance about positive programs taking place within the jurisdiction.
