for those that are at least half-wits - a simple calculation of potential $$ earned vs very minor risk of the cost of a couple years of prison.

REally?

when reading comprehension fails:

making more than ever
see, if the poster had said "we've never had this problem" ... you'd have a point. Since they specifically didn't ("more than ever"), you do not.

What else is new?

As for sex traffickers. Cut off their … and remember one thing. In all of this, WE are the consumers.
so much to unpack.

But, as a noted solid Democrat, you'd support our forces seeking out the coyotes and cartels within Mexico and killing them?

In this case - a female that was sex-trafficking ... what would you cut off?

What does the 2nd bold "stop the hiring or make a better employee deal" even supposed to mean? There are nearly unlimited "work visas" allowed for agriculture and really any occupation where low-wage immigrants will "do the work that American citizens won't".

when you say "we are the consumers" ... are you talking Americans are consuming underaged or sex-trafficked non-English speaking women and children?

No previous administration, however, has invited and condoned the massive surge which is now crossing our border. Again, if you support or voted for Biden, you hold a share of the responsibility for every death, injury, and psychological trauma which is inflicted on people by human traffickers and drug smugglers. Own it.
it seems you've fallen into their trap, and referred to it as "immigration" (being curtailed as an example) and not accurately "illegal immigration".

Smuggling happened thru out centuries. The slaves were brought to united states that way.
So whoever can exist with short term memory problems would most likely say - only under the current administration. Course that's the point of this bias news. Most who wish to smear and propel false data : market to folks who can't recollect beyond yesterday.
rarely has anyone attempted to deflect and used such inane arguments. Congrats.

Not one thing you said is relevant.

I'm sure all Black Americans, that consider themselves descendants of slaves, would love you comparing to their ancestors brought over (by whoever) in shackles and openly sold as property (not smuggled in the least) to those who PAY someone to sneak them across the border undetected.

No one has said we haven't had an illegal immigration problem, and at least now all of the darkest aspects that come with it.

What people are saying is "Never has 1 Administration promoted and abetted it as this one."

I mean, the last 2 Dem POTUS' have easily findable State of the Union speeches including speaking against these people coming here illegally.

Do you really need these to be pointed out?

She didn't make $7.2M. The article said "as much as" 15,000 per person... not for every person.

$7.2M means she got $15,000 for each person - for 80 people over a 6 month period. That didn't happen.

Quibbling over the math is a pointless distraction. Whether is was $7.2 million or $7.20, she aided and abetted at least 80 people entering the country illegally.

You are correct quibbling over math is a pointless distraction, but the poster you were replying to left out two very important words.

Quote:
The illegal aliens were charged as much as $15,000 each in smuggling fees, police said. At $15,000 a person, for 80 people per month over six months, that’s a total of $7.2 million.
So that 80 people was closer to 500 people.

The only thing Biden would find troublesome is if a man had made $8 million in the same period.
