In Biden's defense it would have been much easier to pick out a different dead person from the crowd. Frederick Douglas for instance.

At some point in my mother-in-law's decline, she thought she was much younger than she actually was. She was also very angry - hard to be around - and that was just the opposite of her usual self.

I'm wondering if Biden has a bit of that, given his speeches that are filled with anger. Maybe he just thinks he's being forceful.

Yes, "he" did, but of course he didn't write it. He might not even have known about the car crash and the death of the congresswoman.

Trump probably didn't know who that was until after that gaffe. When I was in grade school, they only talked about Frederick Douglas very briefly. Most Americans can't tell you for the life of them why he is significant in American history. Trump spent most of his life as a business man, not a 50 year government bureaucrat where they are surrounded by and reminded of the history of this great nation and it's historical figures on a daily basis.

But this isn't an orange man bad thread. This is about our obviously demented pedoresident guy. You can ignore it if you want, but sticking your head in the sand is not going to make this go away.

This is true. There are a lot of formalities that go on without Biden even being made aware. I don't think he's in charge of anything besides what flavor of ice cream he gets before bed.

And I have liberal friends who to this day think Biden is God’s gift to this country and is doing a great job.

That happened later in the Rise Garden for a different event. It took Dr Jill and another guy to go to Biden and lead him away, arms hanging down & walking with a shuffle.

Maybe he forgot she died?

Somehow the White House can’t present that explanation.

National Review:

Most of us with eyes can see what happened. President Biden forgot that the late Representative Jackie Walorski died in a car accident last month. “Representative Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I think she was going to be here to make this a reality.” Biden had no ill intent, he just plain forgot.

But the Biden team refuses to acknowledge this, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre going to absurd lengths to insist that Biden did not misspeak.

Why is the White House being so stubborn about this? Probably because admitting any uncomfortable public memory lapse by Biden will reopen the ...
Spin room: White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to defend Biden's obvious brain flub. The deceased congresswoman was "on his mind," Jean-Pierre told reporters, and Biden was simply "acknowledging [Walorski's] incredible work." Asked why the president was looking around for a dead woman, Jean-Pierre doubled down. "I think people. . .will understand when someone is at top of mind."

The WH was going to play a tribute video to her during this event. Worse, after the president’s stunning moment, the White House apparently pulled the plug on a tribute video that was set to play. So to recap, the president forgot Walorski was dead, and because of his bought of senility, his handlers then had to cancel the part of the event that was meant to honor her so Biden wouldn’t face further embarrassment. It’s just insane when you put it all together.

The White House Print Press Pool reporter(Yahoo News) did not report that President Biden looked for Representative Jackie Walorksi in the crowd today, despite her having tragically passed away in a fatal car accident in August.

The White House print pool reporter today is @alexnazaryan. This incident does not appear in the White House pool reports for this event. Why is that, Alex?

We KNOW why that is — Leftist Media’s JOB #1 is protecting Biden. Sad state of Affairs & why nobody trusts them.

He ordered flags to fly at half-mast in her honor until her funeral.

It was pretty big news last summer.

Maybe he was taking a nap when all that happened.

Oh wait, naps make you better at functioning.....maybe he didn't take a nap.

Latrine John-Pair's response to this is truly disgusting. She doesn't even acknowledge that he made a mistake and could not even come up with a simple response of "the President made an embarrassing mistake and is truly sorry".
