I cannot fathom why something so historical, being that it was owned by a former President and one of our Founding Fathers, would be lent out to such a disrespecting nincompoop...
Twerking and swearing while holding this particular flute is quite disrespectful...

Lizzo then played the flute, and exclaimed, “B*tch, I just twerked and played James Madison’s crystal flute from the 1800s! We just made history tonight!”
After that, the singer handed the flute back to a Library of Congress representative.
Lizzo posted the video of her playing the flute twice on Instagram. In one of the video captions, the singer claimed that she was the first person to ever play the flute.
“YALL.. THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS LET ME PLAY THEIR HISTORIC 200 YEAR OLD CRYSTAL FLUTE ON STAGE TONIGHT,” she wrote.
“NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE… NOW YOU DO,” the “Naked” singer added.
In another video caption, Lizzo said: “IM THE FIRST & ONLY PERSON TO PLAY THIS PRESIDENTIAL CRYSTAL FLUTE ITS LITERALLY AN HEIRLOOM — LIKE… AS A FLUTE PLAYER THIS IS ICONIC AND I WILL NEVER BE OVER IT.”
Doesn't seem to be disrespecting it at all. Completely opposite, rather, she seems very respectful of it.

Does she behave in a proper ladylike fashion for your 1920's sensibilities? Eh, eff no. Sorry your 1920's sensibilities are offended, not sorry. It's your feelers that were disrespected though and not the flute.
I'm still trying to digest her recent VMA tearful speech where she told us how Oppressed she is. How can an overweight Black female that is wearing a custom designer dress, who arrived in a Limo and is well respected in the music industry and loved by fans all over the world be Oppressed? Only in a America can someone be so oppressed by a country that has given you everything?
Weird.
It is also weird that she is playing that flute.
Is the museum trying to be WOKE by loaning it to her? That flute was played by a President that held his office while slaves were owned. Amazing. I already feel better about myself with this show of diversity and progressivism....
At least she didn't drop it.
