Did the US close their embassy in Italy recently?

By my count, the USA still has 3 consulates general in Italy.

Does anyone else in here remember Benito Mussolini? Well Italy just elected another facist party.

I believe that's called "Democracy".

Sorry left-wingers, just because people don't want to vote for left-wing globalists, that doesn't mean they are against Democracy.
Now even democracy is a threat to democracy, according to vegetable xoe

UK two years ago, Sweden two weeks ago, Italy two days ago.

Add in the media blackout over Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic all going hard anti-immigration and all telling Brussels/Berlin to go pound sand on that particular topic, and it feels like Germany's left-wing conquest of Europe might be unraveling a smidgen.

So the trains will be running on time then.

Italy elected a true fascist or the msm is describing the election winner a fascist?

Barely in office to enact any policy let alone a fascist policy.

"C'mon, fat! I just named an ambassador to Italy. No, it's not Nancy "Stuffed Crust" Pelosi. Our new ambassador to Italy is an old friend of mine, from the old country. He and I grew up near the Leaning Tower of Pizza, and we've been friends for at least 90 years. His name is Chef Boyardee."

I read that he's holding it open for Nancy Pelosi, as she has mentioned that she'd like the cushy position after retiring from speaker.

Horrible idea!

Imagine hiring by competence rather than whoever does the most for whatever party is in charge.

You UK'ers have some weird ideas.
