LOL....hysterical.....the global warming gods are vengeful

hurricane Ian is a direct result of Governor Desantis' stance on climate change.

"And now his state is getting hit with one of the worst hurricanes."

Saw a news clip earlier where Don Lemon was essentially arguing with the acting head of NOAA that hurricanes are now more fierce because of global warming. He says he knows because he's from Florida. Right. Lemon - as far as I know, who has no technical education whatsoever - arguing with a scientist who's the main guy for weather, among other things, in the US.

They don't call it a doomsday cult for nothing.

To be fair, the lady on The View never said the hurricane was a result of DeSantis’ stance on climate change. She didn’t even infer that. She points out the irony that someone who denies climate change leads a state that was just ht by a hurricane made more likely by climate change.

Now I don’t think there’s a proven link between climate change and hurricanes. But set the record straight - the OP and the tweet it is based on are outright lies.

“ hurricane Ian is a direct result of Governor Desantis' stance on climate change.”

Didn’t hear that at all.

But as it rolled in there were still some religious loons that were still weirdly calling it punishment on Disney for their LGBT “support”.

I suppose it's a matter of perspective. Many times it is the climate change deniers that behave like a cult. It's unfortunate that climatology scientific results have been so politicized, in large part by the coal and oil industries.

Unfortunately, more people identify with (or want to discuss/debate) religion than science or reality.

God doesn't give a damn one way or the other. However, the laws of physics are implacable. Hurricane Ian would have occurred anyway without global warming. However, it is global warming which has given Ian its ferocity. The last I heard, Mark Twain is still in charge of the universe's Department of Irony. Mr. Clemens no doubt, was responsible for guiding the hurricane in the direction of red state Florida with its climate denier governor. Nice job, Samuel!

only Democrats can save the planet when they can’t even run their states or the country for that matter…but this climate thing…they’ve got this

And really, it will be fine. who cares about climate change. the planet will adapt the planet will be here for a lot longer than we will. people will adapt, so will plants and animals. The earth is here for us to use its resources.
