There is no city in America that I can think of where the cultural rot stinks the most. The random senseless violence you see coming from that city on a daily basis must be quite desensitizing and dehumanizing for people exposed to this on a regular basis. A normal, rational human being would see no reason or purpose to do what the coward in this video did.

But perhaps trying to make sense of this is our first mistake. After all, it's just another day in the big crapple, where things that don't make sense have become the norm.

"To me it's as simple as 'we will not tolerate this, if you do this, you have to go to jail and be rehabilitated,'

That's an assault and robbery, not a hate crime.

That is terrible. It looks like the Thug stole the victims cell phone too.

What a loser. This is a Hate Crime that will of course be ignored by the Left but turn the tables and they would be setting up a Gofundme for the kid as a city wide manhunt was engaged to find that White Supremacist that bashed him in the face with the chair.

The Thug needs to be caught and prosecuted AND made to pay for his crime by doing time.

The assailant called the victim a "b****" moments before throwing the chair at him, which could have easily killed him. Sounds rather hateful to me.

when the difference between a 'hate crime' and 'not-a-hate-crime' is something that the alleged 'hate crime' perpetrator says -or is even alleged to have said - it then becomes much more of a thought crime than anything else. that's pretty much what we have today.

The left made the rules. They can fall victim to them as well.

At the very least it's elder abuse, assault and robbery.

They want the laws arbitrary and confusing. They want their DAs and judges to make all the decisions.

California gun laws are a perfect example. As are ATF "rules."

Yep.

Now, it shouldn't be too difficult to identify the suspect given his hair and distinctive build. But so what? If caught he'll likely probably be back on the street in no time.

Might be the thing to do these days for those who enjoy the thug life. Just f-up a random stranger for the fun of it.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn a friend video taped the assault. What good is committing an assault if you can't brag about it later.
