I don't know which is worse -- that she said it, or that she was wrong.

Or WAS she wrong? I guess we will know in a few months where the relief money was actually spent, and how it was spent -- and whether or not there will be any special relief checks coming.

And IF any relief checks are issued, it would not surprise me a bit if they only went to POC and/or those with an annual household income of less than $50,000.

What she should have said is along the lines of...

We need to ensure poorer neighborhoods and those predominantly POC get the same level of support as the more expensive and predominantly white. Everyone affected need the country's support regardless of their demographic.

well blame white people who for some reason were more interested telling govt it is ok if they get help more then me because there is so called dept i have to pay for wrongs of people long dead. so now you fight it back you are racist. i came from europe and seeing selfness some white mericans show is border line stupid. i mean standing up for person or people who will do something to benefit you in long run so it is logical to repay that debt but to put some stranger or criminal over your family like americans do with criminal reform is crazy. i would gather all these white people i florida who lost everything and create clss action suit and sue govt basicly be on tv 24/7 and show we will not stay quiet. because in usa you stay quiet you condone
