Becoming Russia’s b* isn’t good for international relations. It just tells Russia they can step over any nation they want by waving nukes around and nobody would do a thing about it.
But they are doing that under Biden. Sometimes, if you treat someone as an enemy they will become your enemy.

Why bend over backwards for a liar? They lie about pretty much everything. They’ll lie about a ceasefire and retreat and in a few years, attack someone else, destabilizing more of the Earth. This Russian regime needs to be dealt with.
The only thing they don’t lie about is the amount of vodka they drink for breakfast.

In what way did you see Trump as pro-Russian? He was the one warning Europe repeatedly in 2018 about becoming dependent on Russian energy, that they were making a huge mistake and the Russians were not to be trusted. Not very friendly to Russia but he looks like a prophet now.
NATO will not be able to act militarily without risk of a complete nuclear exchange. Any NATO missile or aircraft will be an assumed nuclear assault and the ICBMs will start flying. You’ll have about 2 hours before the civilian targets start getting vaporized. Assuming you survive the day then the fallout will kill you and your family over the next week. The rems are extreme. Those living at the extreme tip of South America may survive a bit longer than a year.
That basically sums it up.
The funny thing is, various armchair Rambos on this forum will try to convince you of a glorious and easy victory, lol.
NATO bombed Serbia in 1999. Serbia didn't attack any NATO member state. NATO's charter says nothing about taking actions against a country under attack that is not a member
Brandon didn't start the war, but his actions have invited Russia to attack Ukraine and he seems to be trying to trigger a nuclear conflict, totally irresponsible.
Can you explain what you mean by the bolded?

Will never happen. The common people are useless. What you have to do is find some Russian oligarchs who are tired of losing money and give them an offer they can't refuse. Which is what we're trying to do, but they keep falling out of windows.

That is impossible. The whole point of this war is to destroy Russia, and Russia will never agree to that. There is no way forward except total Ukrainian victory, or the total collapse of the West.

You know, Putin gave a speech called the "Empire of Lies". You should watch it. If you dare.
I don't think people understood how inept Russia's military is or how quickly the Ukrainian army could transition. The real thing military leaders were paying attention to was Ukraine's ability to conduct offensives..they have no experience and there was a question mark whether they had the capacity...well now we know....yes they can and that alters the equation. ISW pointed out that Putin is having to come to grips he is approaching the limits of his hard power to conduct war in Ukraine. There may have been plans to carve up UKR but plans have a tendency to change. Right now moving forward Russia is growing weaker and UKR is growing stronger.
Very simplistic and largely inaccurate. Russia isn't fighting Ukraine, they are fighting all of NATO and any other countries supporting Ukraine with weapons, ammo, equipment and supplies. The US taxpayer is funding the vast majority of this war. We are the ones responsible for the slaughter of Russian soldiers, airmen and sailor. The war is being won with American antiaircraft systems, antitank guided missiles, with drones, with American multiple launch rocket systems and artillery. Ukrainians are pushing the buttons (with who knows how many American "advisors" telling them what button to push), but it is the US taxpayer killing Russians. There is no denying that Biden has us in a shooting war with Russia, and hasn't been for months.

Trump praised Russia for taking Crimea. He called the build-up of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border a "genius move." He said Ukraine would fall "fairly quickly." He's always liked Putin. Now he'll take his words back since Russia is losing so badly because we all know Trump will abandon ship so quickly just to say he was right.
