Just a reminder to everyone who doesn’t already: the ONLY country that have ever used a nuke on another country is the USA. Not only the USA used them, they used them on civilian.

I do know that back channels are open between Russia and US/NATO which is a good thing. The risk here the way I see it is that Putin maybe stupid enough to use a tactical nuke in some form and think there will be no response....not just from NATO but the entire globe. Outside of using their Big Nukes and engaging in Mutually Assured Destruction....the cost of Russia going nuclear far outweighs the benefits. It wouldn't be just NATO responding...there would be an international outcry and condemnation which would result in immense pressure put on China and India to respond. The first target from the analyst I read would be taking out the Russian fleet in the Black Sea with conventional weapons...and probably a massive response in conventional weapons. For Russia it wouldn't change the battlefield...it would just make it worse...Ukraine would be receiving the most advanced weapons that the west has held back on so far. I think if there were an actual advantage to using unconventional weapons for Russia...Putin would already be deploying them....there is no moral struggle here.

We have Putin's Russia on it's heels and ALL of the world leaders know this. According to a Yougov Poll only 20% of Americans think we are doing too much for Ukraine...and it is a strange intersection between the far paleoconservative right and the Noam Chomsky far left. That's up from 13% back in May. Putin has proved himself to be a menace to the security of the global community and spare me the but but The US...Putin has thumbed his nose at international laws and committed atrocities and war crimes on a level not seen since WW2. Back in 1945 the world made an agreement "Never Again" well that is applicable here.

And it was 77 years ago and used to end a World War. The hint of using nukes as Pootin is doing should spook our Spooks but unfortunately, they're too busy trying to trump up charges on Trump to concern themselves with an issue that could end civilization.

Biden’s dream continuation from Hillary’s push. Go to war with Russia. Prepare yourself for any outcome. Propaganda is on steroids now about details in Ukraine. No average American in this country knows the truth. Thanks, democrats.

If Putin does resort to nukes lets hope he keeps them contained to the Ukraine and doesn't launch any this way.

I could see him with nothing left to lose and resorting to a "scorched earth" retreat by using tactical nukes though and that would be ugly enough.

How else could the US and Europe respond except with force? Strategic strikes with anything but nukes would be the way to go.

The Sanctions that Biden put on Russia hasn't done much to Russia but we sure are feeling the pain here with the price of fuel and inflation as part of that.

Putin uses nuclear against whom in a hypothetical situation?

If it’s against Ukraine, then we and NATO aren’t going to do ****.

If it’s against US or a NATO country, then it’s game on.

The newer B-21 is due to be released in a few months. Russia is not capable of successfully combating modern stealth technology.
Russia has a lot more nukes then we do and they have subs with nukes. It might sound simple on paper but it's doubtful.

Millions and millions of people would die in such an event.

I wouldn't doubt Trump, Snowden and other spies have given Russia the 411 on our tactical capabilities through classified docs.
