And the best news is that since Sleepy Joe put that moratorium on drilling permits on government land, they are going to drill on private property... which means more money for those wonderful landowning Trump supporters in the heartland.

Nearly crippled me. I forgot which year it was, but I remember paying off that winters oil bill for over a year.
My wife was about to dial 911 when I got that first bill, she really thought I was having a stroke or a heart attack.
We wouldn’t be at the mercy of the Saudis or Russians or anybody else if we relied more on renewable energy and less on fossil fuels.
But you will still need a reliable source of energy when the sun's not shining and wind not blowing, the only viable source excluding carbon based is nuclear which is the most obvious next step to a secure energy grid away from fossil fuels.
And watch Biden not take any blame for it. When oil prices fall briefly, he and the Left takes credit. When it goes up, he and the Left denies/blames/make excuses. Funny how that works.
How does the USA take responsibility for OPEC again?
Are our oil reserves EMPTY now?
Or are they filling them back up?
They're the lowest in decades. I expect Biden to fill the reserve back up at premium prices after the November 2022 election and then release the reserves before the Nov. 2024 election.
All the world really needs (especially Europe) is for a cold snap, maybe a polar vortex or two this winter.
