Whatever happened to "drill baby, drill?"

This is great news for the domestic oil industry.

And the best news is that since Sleepy Joe put that moratorium on drilling permits on government land, they are going to drill on private property... which means more money for those wonderful landowning Trump supporters in the heartland.

Are our oil reserves EMPTY now?
Or are they filling them back up?

But you will still need a reliable source of energy when the sun's not shining and wind not blowing, the only viable source excluding carbon based is nuclear which is the most obvious next step to a secure energy grid away from fossil fuels.

As of today, the average price for a gallon of regular in California is $6.38.

The gas station near me is $7.20 for regular this morning.

~ Thx Gavin!

How does the USA take responsibility for OPEC again?

They're the lowest in decades. I expect Biden to fill the reserve back up at premium prices after the November 2022 election and then release the reserves before the Nov. 2024 election.

All the world really needs (especially Europe) is for a cold snap, maybe a polar vortex or two this winter.

High oil prices, low supply of natural gas, perfect recipe for a global economic implosion.
