He is a public figure, News has an obligation for covering Public figures.
You may not like what they report on you, but they report on what they see and find out,
and part of their job is to report on Politicians and Public figures.

So don't enter public politics and life, if you are that thin skinned and can't stand the scrutiny.

Of course he has the right to file the suit, but there is little chance of its success. The bar for winning such a case as a public figure is very high, as it should be. Otherwise the chilling effect would cut off public discourse.

CNN went to War against Trump. They were absolutely rotten to him for no reason but they hated him. It is one thing when Journalists actually do their job correctly by asking the tough questions and digging for the bottom of the story so they can correctly and reliably serve up the facts that have been sourced and verified to their audience but CNN and their ilk went way beyond that when it came to Trump.

I hope he wins and puts the media in their place and that is serving the public not just a select audience with propaganda.
