Newly released movie "Bros" didn't do as well as the actors expected. Now he's calling everyone that didn't want to watch a movie with guys making out with each other "homophobes". The Universal film — which marks the first gay romantic comedy released by a major Hollywood studio — debuted to a dismal $4.8 million after doing little business in much of middle America and the south.
“Everyone who ISN’T a homophobic weirdo should go see BROS tonight! You will have a blast! And it is special and uniquely powerful to see this particular story on a big screen, esp for ***** folks who don’t get this opportunity often. I love this movie so much. GO BROS!!!,” tweeted Eichner.
Should I eat at "Liver 'N' Onions Hut" when that food does not appeal to me in any way shape or form? Or should I cruise on over to "Pizza Hut" and enjoy some food that does appeal to me? The owner of the liver 'n' onion joint can go right ahead and hate me if he wants but that won't get me in the door.
I saw the preview at a theater, and it made me want to vomit. Well, not really -- but let's just say that I had absolutely NO interest in seeing it, and that I think the only people who might enjoy it would be gay men, and I am a straight woman.
There's a lot of movies that I want to see prior to seeing a trailer for this one but haven't been to the theatres in over two years now. I'll just wait til they (certain movies) come out on DVDs and/or possibly rent them on Red Box.
