Europe is in crisis. Trump tried to warn Germany NOT to rely on Russia for their energy and he was laughed at.
If Trump was still President we would have never stopped drilling and the Keystone pipeline would have been finished and we could have been exporting energy to Europe and raking in the profits to help reduce our debt. What is Europe going to do this Winter? Putting on an extra sweater doesn't always work.
Renewable Energy is the Future but we are not there yet so we still need to rely on Fossil Fuels. The Left is failing to comprehend that and they have put the cart before the horse and have gone all in.

I also find the term renewable to be a bit suspect. Unless solar panels make more solar panels it isn't renewable. Maybe one day but not with in this lifetime.

Solar panels don't even recycle well after end of use. That hasn't hit yet since it is so new.

GLOBAL climate change is a false flag if you see the pattern of destruction carried out as policy. Sure the climate is changing as the earth is dynamic with continents shifting, sea level rising and receding. I heard that in some obscure Scandinavian village they power everything through a single pinwheel attached to a garden nome. they eat only vegan fish and enjoy the finest sustainable bat guano coffee. it is truly insane that the United States is so far behind other utopian villages in Scandinavia.

I’m sure some future generations will find a way to manage, but we in the here and now and probably our children will suffer. We have a president inching us closer to war and he’s depleted oil from our national oil reserve. The man is a threat to national security and the world.

The warning is that you can't put in place policies that artificially raise prices to promote the use of alternative energy like they have done in many parts of Europe. Germany has the most expensive electricity in the world. Ask yourself why that it and why the Germans will now be using more coal to provide electricity.
Germany's problems are mostly due to high natural gas prices in addition to transitioning to green energy. They also closed some nuclear power plants a few years ago.
Nope. Germany in particular has thrown intelligence, facts and common sense out the window in order to get their woke card punched. They shut down reliable, stable nuclear power plants and coal plants (while having a good domestic supply of coal)-in turn switching to "renewables", backed up by natural gas powered "peaking" plants. By doing so they have become dependent on other countries for their energy needs. Not only do they buy NG from Russia, but they import a major portion of their electric supply from other European countries that were not so short-sighted.
No government is woke. You are correct that the German energy strategy was to use renewables backed by cheap Russian gas. It was a great strategy until Victoria Nuland, George Soros, and John McCain succeeded in a coup in Ukraine. Then spent eight years arming, funding, and training Ukrainian Nazis to fight Russia over land that was historically Russian and where almost everyone speaks Russian.
American-backed Ukrainian oligarchs used political commissars and state media to radicalize Ukrainian men so Germany knew it would be dragged into a war since the pipelines cross Ukrainian territory. Germany built Nord Stream in cooperation with Russia to bypass Ukrainian pipelines and to make sure America and its attack dog Ukraine wouldn't be able to blackmail Germany into supporting a war that was not in Germany's interests.
Before the war even began, Joe Biden was already making threats to destroy Nord Stream, and we made good on that promise. The United States is throwing its European allies under the bus because we have to crush Russia at all costs. Then we turn around and blame Germany for pursuing an energy policy that made perfect sense if America hadn't pursued such an insane policy in Ukraine.
