I knew this would happen sooner rather than later. I wonder what took him so long?

Should be interesting to see how it pans out. We'll see if they're as against the rule of law as Cannon is.

I would not assume that the supreme court would entertain his request to have the special master review the 100 classified documents.

It would be counterproductive for The State to surrender the power of inquisition to an unbiased third party.

If the court is smart they will leave it alone and proceed with the cases on their docket.

I would like to assume that the SCOTUS wouldn't touch this case with a ten-foot pole, but with this court, who knows?

I think they will, but Trump uses these tactics as delay maneuvers.

Trump has been abusing the court system for decades, he has loads of experience and is pretty good at it.

As you say, if they are smart they will let the lower court ruling stand and avoid the controversy.

Of course they will. It will decide the extent of executive privilege.

He doesn't have executive privilege. And if they think he does, we are in worse shape as a country than I thought.

If the Conservative 11th circuit turned him down I think the SC will go with them.

so what's wrong with having the special master review all the papers?

...obviously Trump doesn't think there's anything to hide...because it would all be made public

the only ones with something to hide....are the ones that don't want the special master to review it all

what's the FBI/DOJ objection? what are they hiding? so far they have let the liberal media run wild with it...and said nothing

staged some BS with empty folders....and followed it all with "might" "may" "maybe" "could"
