Someone in another thread yesterday posted something about how Democrats were scaring and/or manipulating black voters to vote for Democrats by spreading falsehoods about Republicans and the Republican party.
Listen to what this Republican explains, and who really thinks the Republicans don't push Blacks to vote democratic quite well enough all on their own? Without any help necessary from Democrats.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL):
"Some people say, [about Democrats] well, they're soft on crime.
No, they're not soft on crime. They're pro-crime. They want crime. They want crime because they want to take over what you got. They want to control what you have.
They want reparation because they think the people that do the crime are owed that.

If anyone doesn't recognize this racist for the racist that he is, then no doubt they are a racist too.
Perhaps, but the point of this thread is more as my OP suggests. How and why the Black vote swings Democrat is not because of lies Democrats tell about Republicans, though of course there is a bit of "misrepresentation" spread by both parties about the other. Always, but in the final analysis, it's the truth of these matters that is more often cause for different groups of people to swing in one direction or the other.
Tuberville is an example among many that demonstrates why the majority of Blacks vote the way they do in red and/or blue states. Let's not kid ourselves.
