The argument from our liberal friends is that children will kill themselves if they don't receive affirming care because 12 year old's are quite noble and wise. I never thought Democrats would be the party of genital mutilation.

I'm typically on the side of the parents making decisions for their children.

I make a couple of exceptions - namely, child abuse.

And puberty blockers for stopping normal human development so a child can decide what gender they are, falls into it.

That's great news. Every reputable study I've seen says the best course of action is wait and see. If allowed to mature, the majority of those kids grow out of it and the ones that don't end-up gay. Only a small percentage actually feel they are trans and proceed with surgery.
