So accompanied minors show up at the border. What are we suppose to do?
I understand the frustration with accepting so many asylum applications from adults. We can't process the ones we have now and we keep piling on. I get the frustration.
But these kids -- what do you want them to do.
The administration buses the kids to family, friends, homes, community churches, etc. for a place to live until their parents can be found or some relative who can take them in permanently.
What do you want them to do with those kids?
According to Fox News, they are dumped and left to hang out on the streets and wreck all kinds of havoc wirh no place to go. As if that is really happening. LOL.

Nothing cruel or grandstanding about spreading the wealth and sending folks to areas where they should be welcomed with open arms by those that want the border open and them let into the country by the millions. Texas and Florida shouldn’t have to continue to take the brunt of illegals, and these poor entitled folks shouldn’t have to live in such terrible states with such meanie Governors. They’re being done a favor…wonder how much money Biden has spent on all of these trips.

What's with this reuniting unaccompanied minors with family members? How did their family members end up here but these minors were left in their homelands? Where are their parents? Are these the family members referred to? It's pretty disgusting for them to have left their kids behind and enter our country illegally. I thought their culture was all about family values? The cruelness is on the part of the parents who left them behind.
It's not the same thing. DeSantis and Abbott sent the illegals to self proclaimed sanctuary cities. Those cities claim to want to welcome illegals and have the resources to take care of them. Biden and the democrats are sending them to areas where they neither have the resources nor want to take care of illegals. Leftists rail against deporting illegals, but the moment they have to deal with them, they deport them. Biden was also trafficking illegals in secret to red states before Abbott and DeSantis started sending them to cities that claim they want to take care of them.
Are all groups flying into an airport supposed to notify the town officials?
The plane landed, the passengers were met by caretakers. They got on the awaiting busses that transported them to the appointed facility where they were expected.
Nothing was needed or expected from the town where the airport was located.

Most of these minors are seeking asylum and are therefore not illegal. They are refugees.
DeSantis sent adults(some with children) to a tourist destination that is basically closed for winter and doesn't even have enough housing for its own middle and working class. Much less jobs that were promised. Cruelty upon cruelty.

The link you provided is just a rehash of the slanted info you already provided. The reality is that Biden is doing what Trump did. He's flying unaccompanied minors to places they can be reunited with relatives or put in care of social services agencies contracted for that purpose.
They are indeed refugees hence why the Office of Refugee Resettlement is involved.
There were no "secret" night flights. There were flights both day and night landing at public airports, hence why we know about it. If they were secret, they would be landing at private airfields or military bases.
Ask yourself why all these articles reference FL? Because DeSantis drummed up this false narrative of secret midnight flights. He lied and claimed he knew nothing about it despite the fact that he was briefed about it and in my guess probably knew about the program from Trump admin.
This is just rightwing propaganda to get votes. A totally false DeSantis narrative while Floridians struggle with affordable housing and astronomical homeowners' insurance he does nothing about.
