Enough of protestors blocking roads and enough of police and city leaders allowing them to do so without repercussions.

Seems like a few well-aimed snowplows would take care of the problem. If only we had the guts to use them. We must not cede our streets to these idiotic activist protesters.

Scoops on their way?
https://youtu.be/6Z2txLk0ybo?t=119

And someone did just that.
"an oncoming vehicle, believed to be a BMW X5, veered across three lanes of traffic and ploughed into them."

Want to talk about degradation of society and values. That's it. Someone plowing into people over a delay. And others openly cheering such behavior on.

If they have video of the protest, maybe on a dash cam, start locking them up.

I actually thought about that scene. Really quite scary that we've come to a point where I would actually applaud using the scoops.

Also interesting that the protesters are blamed in this article rather than the person that ran them over...

One of the most important values of a free society is freedom of movement. This wasn't just a delay -- it was a group of people unilaterally declaring that thousands of others are not entitled to their freedom of movement. And people are getting sick of others thinking they're entitled to deny them that basic freedom.

Would I run over protesting imbeciles over myself? No. Am I sad whenever someone else does? Not really, no. Degradation of values? Maybe. But these people, and the governing class that refuses to adequately deal with them, are a proximate cause of that degradation. When government fails to adequately protect peoples' basic freedoms, they will eventually reassert their freedoms in ways that are often very ugly.

I couldn't tell from the news article if the BMW driver intentionally swerved to hit the women on the shoulder or if he had lost control of his car in a spectacular fashion.
