Leaving aside the ridiculous hyperbole of characterizing DeSantis as “the biggest and most dangerous threat to our democracy”, what exactly is Charlie Crist hoping that fifty-thousand retweets will accomplish?
As of this writing, Crist’s tweet is about 47,000 retweets shy of it’s goal.
It sounds like Twitter needs to fire up all those Bots again. They have been shut down since Elon Musk put the company under the microscope.
I wouldn't know. I have never used Twitter and probably never will. The only social media I have is facebook and I've dramatically cut down my use of that site once it became clear that it is run by DNC activists.
How close are the polls in this race? Is it actually even competitive at this point? Crist just seems like such an awful candidate, but dems are really good at taking over the narrative in the news cycle and demonizing their opponents to the point where it influences non political casual voters against them.

They seem to have no platform. All they do is bash the other party saying they are a "threat to democracy".

According to 538, DeSantis is ahead by over 7 points/percent.

DeSantis is ahead by 8 - 10 points. My neighborhood has tons of DeSantis signs. I have never seen a Crist sign anywhere in my travels in this state. Not one.
