He's certainly a highly intelligent guy, made his way up to wall street early on after emigrating to the US (had high society connections though through his family). Learned philosophy from Karl Popper in the UK. He worked out his own "theory of reflexivity" of the financial markets, wrote many interesting books about his theories.

The problem with Soros is that he has a God complex but it doesn't get paired with morality whatsoever. He has philosophy on the other hand and philosophies can be dangerous. An abstract idea can look good on paper (see Soviet Communism) and then cause the death of millions when put into real world practice. Whether he's just hell bent on his own ideas being the only good way for societies to operate or he's part of a group of elite globalists who have certain goals that are not necessary aligned with the common good, we don't know.

That's the problem with modern day liberalism, which he is a major financier and pusher of. People like that get ideas of what should happen, but their approach to getting there is not restricted by morality. In fact, they will tell you morality is just a social construct. Since we can't all agree on what is moral, they just ignore the concept altogether when deciding how to accomplish their end goals. They rely more on the legal system to define what is right or wrong, but people like Soros are powerful and rich enough to work around or change the legal system. Just look at how many DAs in leftist cities are backed by Soros and his wealth. And look at the results of their decisions...
