Speaking in regards to the transgender student, board member Jeff Tatham said, "The biggest thing for us, especially after seeing the video of the injury, we felt very strongly that it was a safety concern. I think most of the board members also felt like there’s a competitive advantage issue."

That's like right out of the Meet the Fokkers movie (may have screwed it up the movie) but Ben Stiller spiked the ball in her face.

I guess it has to do that when kids in grade school play co ed dodgeball, the boys always throw at the girls and hit them in the face. And the game stops because the girl cries.

That's all I can figure.

There are plenty of Highschool female players that can spike the ball hard, my area has nationally ranked teams spiking balls like the mens teams. The key is to not let the ball hit you in the face.

I was told that we are all equal.

Girls should protest boys competing in their sport by sitting out of all competitions.

There comes a point in life when denying the truth becomes an issue of safety.

Isnt that generally in elementary school (pre puberty)? And was this not a competing team, not gym class?
there is a reason for seperate sports teams for men and women.

I dont think you understand the difference in being the same (equal) and having equality.
No one is the same, but we should all be treated with equality. Does it really need to be spelled out.
