The only trouble is that if the media hysteria and trumpets get loud enough, the politicians will be under pressure to “do something.” That is exactly what happened during all of the waves of Covid. Russ lockdowns, masking, isolation, long lines outside stores, and other restrictions.

All I know is the democrats are moving toward full blown socialism at warp speed. If we don't stop these IDIOTS, the future of America is DOOMED.

The exploitation of a public health problem. I.e. never let a good crisis go to waste.

RSV mainly infects kids and it comes every year. This year seems worse than prior years. My neighbor’s kid got pneumonia from RSV. Some kids are hospitalized for it but most are fine. But a kid doesn’t need to be immune compromised to have complications from RSV. It’s good to take some basic precautions.

This is my feeling also. I mean, what did they expect would happen to the kids?

What precautions? A lockdown?

Exactly but it looks like another depressing go-round

The more you isolate and guard kids from viruses, the more viruses will sicken them. You need to do to the opposite, let your kids socialize, play, and get sick. Because being sick is a healthy part of life.

After Covid people's nerves are a bit raw. But it the media plumping for another shutdown?
In 2000 my grand contracted the RSV at 4 months. There were so many children in Joe DiMaggio hospital in Hollywood it was scary. They made a vaccine so not sure why it’s back. But watching that tiny baby intubated for 2 months was traumatizing. Teens were in ICU along with little children and babies. It’s a nasty virus. Nothing to play with.

When this story was on the local news, they interviewed a local doctor. He said this is very rare.
