Ron DeSantis narrowly defeated Democrat Andrew Gillum in Florida's 2018 Gubernatorial race...thank god.
Now, its looking like Gillum is going to prison for politically-related crimes he committed, when he was Tallahassee's Mayor, & running for FLA Gov.
Gillum claimed he was being illegally targeted, due to his race, but a Judge just rejected that claim.
Gillum is the same scumbag that was found drunk in a Miami hotel room, w/ an OD'd male prostitute, by police. Gillum's married & has 2 kids...during this drug & sex-fueled interlude gone awry.
Why did Miami police let Gillum just walk away from that scene w/o any charges being filed?
Gillum has since come out as being BiSexual (did he lie to his wife?), went through rehab, & now faces prison for multiple federal charges.
Why didn't the Democrat party in FLA properly vett Gillum before they supported him for Governor?
Or, did they know, & misled FLA voters? There were signs of political corruption when Gillum was Tallahassee's Mayor:

Reading threads like this reminds me that we really shouldn't be calling democrats "liberals." That word in its classical sense doesn't describe them very well at this point. A better word would be the term "libertine." That describes their behavior far better and there are very few card carrying democrats who would not support in totality the philosophies and behavior of Marquis de Sade and other famous libertines. I would describe the modern democrat as a sickly melding of authoritarian collectivism and libertine.
The Democrats did vett him...those things made him more desirable to the Democrats. They adore and support all that.
He would have been very controllable through blackmailing the parts of his life he wanted to hide.
