i really don't understand election tactics for these leftists

they seriously think they are going to win an election by blaming on Trump or the GOP when the dems are in charge of both the White House and Congress for 2 years?

Yes.

Why do you care so much about Ukraine anyways?

Is it worth the cost to our people, our economy and the growing threat of nuclear war?

Biden compares Republican economic plans to Britain's Truss

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday compared Republican plans on taxes and spending if they take control of Congress in November to the economic plan rolled out by Britain's former Prime Minister Liz Truss, warning of similar results.

"You read about what happened in England recently, and the last Prime Minister, she wanted to cut taxes for the super wealthy," Biden said during a fundraising call for Michigan lawmaker Cynthia Axne.

"It caused economic chaos in the country. Well, that's what they did last time and they want to do it again. And they want to make that tax cut permanent — that $2 trillion," Biden said.

I can tell you what the GOP will do, stop helping the poor (even the ones working their tails off), stop support to Ukraine and get lovey with Russia regardless of how evil they are. It's pure selfishness.
This is the problem with republicans, they complain and criticize but they don't propose any real solutions. Inflation is complicated and other than increasing interest rates there isn't much else we can do at this point, besides the fact is that it is worldwide.

Biden removed the cornerstone of the US economy when he killed our energy industry.

All the repubs need to do is block any further spending and attacks on the energy industry and lock down the border.

It is the destruction of our energy industry which caused the cascade of economic and financial disasters across the globe.

How much do you think it costs to coddle millions of illegal aliens that biden invited in?

Cost of rebuilding after the terrorists biden let in, do another 911 style attack?

Dems have handed the repubs a poison pill which they readily swallowed. Instead of acting to oppose dems outrageous policies and lies they sat back and waited for the november election. Now what?

the choice is more of the same with dems, until we are a pile of ashes, or go with repubs to stall the process of destruction by a faux president run by uneletcted shadows.

Trump 2024 is our only hope.

Cutting taxes is one way to address inflation outside of interest rate increases but we already did that back in 2017 when it was unnecessary. Arthur Laffer praised Truss for her plan and then ......

We are the most powerful nation in the world and for us to just turn a blind eye to Russia and let them walk all over these small innocent countries would eventually weaken us. Also, some of these other dangerous countries would start pulling some stunts. I think it's worth a little money to secure our strength around the world. We need to remind them who is the boss!

I would like to add, I recently traveled across the country and there were plenty of nice gas-hungry SUVs, family-style trucks, and motorhomes on the highway. Apparently, our economy is still good enough for these folks! In the meantime, I'm driving my little 2014 sedan and not complaining. So enough of this bellyaching.

I certainly don't put the failed economy squarely at the foot of Biden...

Still, the DEMS have controlled the White House, the Senate and the House of Reps. for the past 2 years and the economy has gone in the toilet, and you want us to blame the Republicans?? Or at the very least, the Republicans plan will make this worse....

Lets see how that argument plays on Nov 8th...

Voters will always blame the party in power whether they are to blame or not.
