Inflation is a product of the pandemic, not Joe Biden.

Quote:
Proposed tax and spending cuts by the G.O.P., which is making a push to take back Congress, are unlikely to bring down rapidly rising prices any time soon.

WASHINGTON — Republicans are riding a wave of anger over inflation as they seek to recapture the House and the Senate this fall, hammering Democrats on President Biden’s economic policies, which they say have fueled the fastest price gains in 40 years.

Inflation was caused by government handouts followed by Biden attacking American energy followed by Biden and the EU sanctioning Russian oil and gas, none of this would have happened if the mean tweeter was still President.

Inflation could be contained simply by discontinuing the Russian sanctions and incentivizing US energy producers instead of handcuffing them as Biden has done combined with repeal of the Inflation Turbocharging Act that the Dems passed with zero Repubs Senators signing on.

What are you talking about. Trump was the one burning money and giving handouts. Biden has cut the deficit in half since Trump.

I wouldn't say that "only they".

If congress reels in spending and were to create a balanced budget, that would go a long way towards domestic inflation.

The problem is, the US is kind of handcuffed and must pump out more and more dollars to keep the global financial system afloat. If we aren't distributing (printing) dollars, then foreign states cannot accumulate enough of those dollars in their own reserves to purchase goods that are priced in dollars.

The only real way to create wealth and better living conditions is to WORK and WORK HARD and LONG HOURS. We're propping up our standard of living today, by borrowing from future generations (debt). Our competitors are OUTWORKING us right now, with the hope that they then can become the holder of Reserve Currency status.

Republicans plan: spending cuts for the poor and tax cuts for the rich. Neither plan will do anything to curtail inflation, inflation is a worldwide problem.

When Trump handed the key to Biden, inflation was 1.3%.

That's because the world is dependent on China and Russia for so much. Russia is busy bullying it's neighbors and China still is shutting down cities, which creates shortages. Trump suggested a workable alternative, but Democrats threw the world's biggest hissy fit and told America no way, no how can we be allowed to be great with a Republican in the White House. Therefor, I'm never going to support a democrat again in my life, unless that party were to drastically change their ways, and I just don't see that happening anytime in the next decade or two. I don't see them being on the side of the common American anytime soon, yet those are the very people they pretend they are representing. They are representing their investment portfolios and bank accounts, first and foremost.

Biden didn't do anything. The deficit was halved because of Covid spending policies expiring. CBO is forecasting a large increase in deficits starting in 2024, and that's not considering future spending bills, wars, pandemics, national emergencies. etc etc.

Don't intentionally mislead, it's not a good faith argument.
