I think it's part of the same cabal that has taken over the USA, they decide what can and cannot be said and done, no checks and balances are in place on them either. I've seriously considered leaving the USA but there doesn't seem to be a great option elsewhere either.
Definitely TT! This is one of the reasons why I absolutely love what Elon Musk is doing over at Twitter.
Well holocaust denial and giving the nazi salute as well as having the nazi flag in public is banned since then end of WW2. I understand as the goal of the allies when they occupied Nazi Germany is to denazify the country. Besides it was a time to fight against anti semitism, and due to the sheer destruction of European Jews experienced during war caused by Germany and their allies then, it then became forbidden to deny it happened. Besides those that deny holocaust are usually neo nazis and radical islamists, and they tend to be a real outcast in Germany. Besides most Holocaust deniers want to wash away the stain of Nazism in an attempt to make Nazism an acceptable political alternative today.
Why are people so obsessed with the Holocaust, there are other genocides as well.
The new law is not at all aimed at the Holocaust, in fact, judging from the timing, it seems aimed at silencing pro-Russian voices.
Exactly. Germany benefits hugely from the EU, it gets more than it gives.
I don't see it.
If I open the hood of a 1990 BMW, most parts have "Made in West Germany", "Made in Austria" labels. If I open the hood of a modern BMW, many parts have "Made in Poland", "Made in Hungary" labels.
I don't understand how it benefits German workers.

Anti-semitism is on the rise in Europe and other countries even the US. I think we can understand the concern over the Holocaust in Germany.

Perhaps those poorer nation's "net contribution" is cheap labor to Germany? They don't yet have enough cash, but they have plenty of people willing to work for near-slave wages.

Cheap labor benefits German billionaires.
I don't see how foreign labor competition can benefit German workers.

The UK has now left and no longer pays contributions, so other EU countries now have to pay more.
