[QUOTE[I[/i]=Starglow;64362841]They've gone way beyond just looking at his tax returns, which the IRS already had and were being audited. No president or elected member of congress has ever been investigated by an opposing political party looking for a needle in a haystack as much as Trump, but they can't even charge him with jay-walking. [/quote]

Don’t be too quick. None of us know what information/evidence James, Bragg, Willis, Smith, the DOJ as a whole, or the six(Seven? Eight?) Grand Juries have and are reviewing. Past is not prologue.

Trump has not been charged YET.

Why does congress need to see trumps taxes at this point and time?

I'd think that to be a slam-dunk overrule with no comment. They simply can't let that precedent be set.
John Roberts oversees the D.C. Circuit Cout.

Huge loss for Trump

After saying SIX different times during the 2016 campaign that he would release his tax returns to the American people, Trump ended up being the only president in modern history to NOT release them.

And after saying that his presidency would be the most transparent in American history, Donald Trump has fought and delayed multiple times to keep his tax returns secret. Welp, Donny is now out of options. No other ways for him to delay the process.

Trump's strategy to "run out the clock" has failed. After fighting for over three years to keep his tax history hidden from the American people, Democrats WILL receive Trump's tax records.

What's the problem folks? It appears the court system is only following up with what he'd previously and repeatedly promised to do in terms of publicly releasing his tax returns. Maybe he just needed a little nudge...

Stated in the request letter to be related to the Committee "considering legislative proposals and conducting oversight related to our Federal tax laws, including, but not limited to, the extent to which the IRS audits and enforces the Federal tax laws against a President."

True, so, Trump has nothing to worry about, right? Just take a deep breath and relax that his Boy Scout ways means he must have done everything perfectly and there's nothing in there that might be a problem for him.

Great, thanks for the link. However we are not in 2019, which the letter you provided is dated.

What's you're point?

So, lets get this straight, after 6+ years of being probed by every known agency, now you got trump.
