Stock market rallies and falls mean nothing these days. Industry's become a mere plaything of finance, incentivizing industry to provide shareholders with money - as opposed to producing REAL goods and services. Real wages have been falling since 1973! The benefits go mostly to those at the top of the financial success ladder, the middle class gets just a pittling and lower end people get practically nothing worth speaking of. That's a recipe for future revolution, or at least "third world" status. If we keep this up for one more generation, then at best we'll turn into present-day Brazil with nuclear weapons and a large military. Now why would we want the USA to become that?
The market has been rallying as the GOP starts pushing ahead in the polls. Is that why?
I think it is a factor if not a predominant factor. Gridlock has been great for the stock market especially when we have a Democrat President. Clinton and Obama benefitted tremendously thanks to the Red Waves they spawned and Biden most likely will as well.
Clinton did adjust his policies after the Red Wave while Obama just didn't do anything after the Red Wave mid-terms when he was President.
I think because they are seeing the right taking over.
-Twitter is in Musk's hands,
- Facebook is failing
- Cnn is trying to fire the woke.
- WB is throwing out the woke.
- Ukraine is starting to annoy most people.
MARKET thinks after the next 75 basis point hike, the future hikes would likely to be less,25-50 basis point
