I doubt there is a surge in using the N word. I look at Twitter and don’t see it. This is just more race baiting. Perhaps 2-3 percent of the population would use the N word on Twitter, probably less.

Anyone who's played Xbox live or similar online fps shooters and GTA knows that anyone and everyone will splash that word and many to troll or express anger at 'noobs'.
I don't doubt it is used on twitter as well. A mix of 14 yr old edgelords thinking they down or genuine racists.
People talking about not hearing it in the real world, other than rap songs, is true. Though, I am guessing when rap songs use it, they are using it in a different context and intention.

Just go to any youtube or yahoo comment section. It'll get filtered but you know it's there.
