A far leftist who was convicted of corruption “won” an election in South America? Who could have guessed?

The USA looks more and more like Brazil every day, and it really isn't surprising - we've always had a lot more in common with the South American banana republics than we do with modern Western nations.

Biden and the Dems are the fascists. Sleepy Joe living in his basement getting more votes than anyone else in history is a good fairy tale. Britain blew up nordstream pipelines for the US - under direction of the Biden admin... those is the fascists you need to be concerned with...

You're defending a guy that was convicted of voter fraud by claiming the current "fascist" in charge is engaging in voter fraud. Good God, that is a classic here on CD forums. You should win some sort of award for cluelessness.

Maybe he’ll be awarded the PA Senate seat. He’s no worse than Fetterman.

I think Lula won fair and square. South America has always had a great affinity for leftism and free stuff.

They look into Venezuela and they said, wow, what a wonderful country. Let's just follow their lead.

My husband is Brazilian and drove to the Brazilian embassy here in California to vote for Lula .... many Brazilians have a tendency to see their rulers as gods, Lula has a very strong image in my husband's affective memory....

Yeah, never mind the fact that Venezuela's citizens are eating pets and zoo animals, folks en masse regularly lose 20lbs of body weight year-over-year, toilet tissue is a black market currency, schools all over have been disrupted or shut down, and gangs of roving boys/men frequently roam the streets in search of minor-aged girls to gang-rape. A real socialist paradise, it seems. No wonder the Biden administration wants to cozy up to the regime.

Donald Trump may look at this Lula character as a template for how to successfully run for president after doing a stint in prison for corruption while president.

Just saying, it could happen...

Which political opponents in the US have been jailed? If you're going to make a silly comparison, you ought to have some facts to back it up.
