Well so does our NSA. Why should the US be the only one spying on people ?

US intelligence was caught spying on leaders of other countries....Snowden files.

And the US admitted it and defended it saying "everyone else does it".

How quickly people forget.....

From 2013:'

U.S. intelligence officials on Tuesday defended surveillance of other countries' leaders, saying such efforts are common practice across the world's intelligence agencies.
..
Without commenting on surveillance of specific leaders, Clapper said that targeting foreign leaders has been a "basic tenant" of many countries' intelligence efforts for the last 50 years. Foreign leaders criticizing the U.S. efforts may be ignoring their own intelligence agencies' efforts, he told the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee.

Interesting to see how many people support a restriction when "their man" supports it.

I wonder what other restrictions some Americans would accept just because their brand of politician says it?

Actually the US is more worried because both China and Russia are making strides in AI development and are not as far behind the US as the US once thought.

AI is the next big tech breakthrough......
And the US will not let them get ahead of us.

Que?

We're talking about TikTok/China. Nobody's forgotten or is ignoring what our country has done. We rail about it constantly, remember? The thread isn't about that, though. Not this time.

I like some of the funny tiktoks but yeah, it seems like a bunch of them just trying to steer traffic to their onlyfans peep\porn shows.
