This is rubbish. A woman of any race can be a Karen. I support calling minority Karens, Karens, and do so myself! I also support coming up with a term for male Karens (they do exist). I propose Vector.
Propose it all you want, but if you look up the modern day definition of what a "Karen" is suppose to be, it is directed strictly at obnoxious white women.
So calling my post rubbish either means you do not want to accept what it is suppose to mean, or attacking the messenger for stating reality.
If people want to generalize about an entire group of people, it is always a mistake. That said, some black women seem to get more amped up, unable to reason and calm themselves down. This is but one example, and sadly in front of their own kids;
Have you considered men who have the first name of 'Gay'?
During my lifespan our society has wrecked the use of my name.
I have never heard of a guy named Gay.
Maybe Gaylord as in Gaylord Perry, the baseball player.
The homosexuals and the complicit liberal media ruined the term gay, and frankly it does not fit, as many gay people are miserable with their life, and the opposite of what the term really means.
As to Karen, I have only known great people with that name. So whomever started this absurd trend must have known a lousy one.
It seems that this is part of the generational battles. Most people who use that term are Gen Z or millennial. Most people with the name Karen are Gen X or Baby boomers. That is the reason they use that name, the young generations are making a statement about the older generations and attributing the negative trails associated with a so called “Karen” to the two older generations. Consider it a cousin to “ok boomer”. I have heard some of them actually say that Gen X is the “Karen generation”.
I do feel sorry for people named Karen. I’m sure they are sick of hearing about this.
Most people named Karen are Baby Boomers. Most "Karens" are Gen X or Millenials. "Ashley" would be a better choice of name than Karen.
(edit-as someone said above, Kate would be a good choice too)

In that NY Central Park incident, you had a white female Karen with a dog and a black male Karen birdwatcher meeting each other.

I've heard the term "Kevin" applied to uptight dudes.
Also there are the Chad's.
