Pretty much this is the crux of the issue. This two party system makes politics in this country a team sport to a major fault, and we as the people follow along with it to our own detriment. So much is done for political fodder, with elected officials basically not caring that politics should actually be about serving the people and not about sticking it to the other team. Too many politicians on both sides have gotten way too comfortable not truly working for the people!!

all the problem of the government is not the two partys, like those in Iowa or Tennessee but its the people inside the beltway, the professional politician that been there 30 years. its the Washington insiders that is the issue,no matter group they belong to.
