A source has said democrats asked Jimmy Carter to campaign for select democrat candidates that are in trouble to help sway the senior vote. Jimmy Carter is seen as neutral despite his term not seeing lots of success during the late 1970’s. But with Clinton on the campaign trail, it could hurt by having former democrat Jimmy Carter on the campaign trail.

Below is an article where discusses his legacy. This was a bit before inflation took off but inflation today is lower than it was in the 1970’s.

This is turning out to be agonizing for the Democrats.

Come on, people. Just 4 more days and this will all be over.

We will survive this.

Yeah leave him alone. Let him enjoy what time he has left without getting involved in this nonsense.

Older people of both parties view Jimmy as a big LOSER when it comes to politics.
He did well with his humanitarian efforts but not as a politician in the Oval Office.

They would be wise to leave Jimmy alone.

As an individual I believe Jimmy is a good man.
As a former President who can campaign for Dems and against inflation, he has no traction.

Jimmy is basically 100 years old now. The man is incredible but no one who is 100 is all there. Democrats are exploiting the mental handicapped once more!
