Would Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment disqualify Mr. Trump from running for president again?
Section 3
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
I find it amazing the continued efforts the MAGA right cultists make to deny what is right in front of all of our faces. The full breadth and scope of Trump's disregard for the rule of law has yet to be revealed but it's going to be breathtaking. Why this is OK with the vocal minority continuing to support Trump is an enduring mystery.
I'm all for a special counsel, as that will lend more credibility to the process. But whether one is appointed or not, history will show how utterly bereft of honor and integrity are all things Trump. I just hope it happens before too much more damage is done is done to our country.

Does anybody really think this saber rattling by the DOJ is because the dems are afraid of Trump running in 2024? It's the exact opposite.
The dumos know that Trump would be the easiest candidate to beat. They desperately want him to run again and they know these assorted threats are like waving a red flag in front of a bull. He would run just to stick it to them.
My god. Trump will be nearly 80 in '24. He carries way too much baggage to be a threat to anyone. Except for his hardcore fanatics, nobody wants him back. Here's a nightmare scenario. Old hag Clinton is still snorting and posing. How about a redo of 2016? The 2 most repugnant political figures of recent decades going at it again. That would surely be the death knell of presidential politics.
