I've mentioned it before but I think that by denying or making wild excuses and deflections that there are problems with inflation and crime instead of facing them you're just making voters angry.

Nobody likes to be gas-lit that inflation is 2% "annualized" or that crime is up *everywhere*.

It's not even the shootings, but also the thefts that harm working families so much.

Hillary Clinton has no cred with anybody, so why are they even letting her open her piehole?

It's true.

Campaign claims are rarely founded in facts and logic. They are appealing in sound bites to emotions and feelings.
Same type of defense we've seen about the COVID vaccines:

A: COVID vaccines don't prevent infection and transmission.
B: No vaccine is 100% effective.

She got the notion from Lee Attwater, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort and company. Sometimes it helps to be so old you can remember those thing.

At least Attwater was a good picker and had a sense of humor.

His partners? not so much. Mostly just mean spirited PITAs.

But that Paul Manafort is a magic man. He can make MAGAs forget he had a business office in Ukraine and partners in Russia.

Yet almost daily someone gets pushed into the train tracks in NYC subways....

I have 2 cousins in NYC and they say it's bad..pretty bad and you don't go out at night by yourself anymore.

no one can keep her mouth closed. she was invited there to stump for her pal hochul, who she seems to be echoing:

Governor Hochul, (D) New York: Voter's Perception Of Crime Is A "Conspiracy"; GOP "Master Manipulators" Of Data

Chicago's Mayor is doing the same thing...denial that there is a crime problem.

How long are people going to live in this "make believe" world that the Dems have created ????

This sounds like nothing but hyperbole.

Do you really believe that people in NYC don't go out at night by themselves anymore? How many people were pushed onto train tracks in NYC in October? 30? 25? 2? According to the NY Times it is 22 so far this year as of late October, it takes being real comfortable with exaggeration to describe that as almost daily.

I'm sure they do but neither of my cousins will anymore.

No question it's a political football and one side is playing it up and the other side is denying it's happening.

So, setting that aside what is the actual reality?
