Funny how no Virginia school is even on this list but Florida and Texas are. Parents pay a fortune to send their kids to private schools. And if they don't know exactly what's being taught then shame on them. But reading some of the these schools objectives, I just don't understand what the uproar is about.

Those are a small list of schools that teach it for those that want it taught to their children.

This is the standard democratic deflection..." Oh just name one school that is teaching CRT". The teacher isn't going to have lessons on "CRT", but the idea of CRT is intermixed with other subjects. And of course, it is never called "CRT". Nice flowery terms like "Diversity", and "Equality" are used.
As for the hotline being "shut down", it seems as if it was being shut down because of another democratic effort to try and muddle up the intention and then complain how the Governor isn't doing what they want.
Remember the "Journalist" that called for people to tie up the Virginia Child Protective Services because a Republican Senator said Happy Columbus Day, and then complained that they were supposedly on hold for hours?
You don't have any examples of a school teaching CRT and neither does the hotline, I'm not surprised. Just admit that this was just political grandstanding by Youngkin since he needed to do something after the election to show he was serious.
Yes some people used the line to get attention for meaningful shortcomings like special ed, I found that both funny and sad.
This was so serious that the parents couldn't contact the school board or admin, they needed to go to the governor's office, come on.
The parents in Virginia were gullible. They were riled up but the media culture wars. It's super easy to do and to watch it happen is actually fascinating. After the election, dead silence. Curriculum didn't change in Virginia and nothing was reported. If it had been reported and found out, believe you me, it would have been on the news at least locally.
We all saw it for what it was--a culture war talking point that gets the rabid riled up. It will be another subject/topic next cycle. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Opportunity was taken by the left and its state media to counter Youngkin's claims and somehow the democrat machine, mcauliffe, biden and super star and world's greatest orator, obama, were unable to convince parents otherwise.
yep CRT was a product of repub imagination. That is why......Va. educators called on Youngkin to rescind his critical race theory ban. Ban something they now claim never existed.

Youngkin sets up a hotline, after he bans CRT. if the ban is effective, then the complaints will drop off dramatically. Almost like a 'comments' section where anybody can spew irrelevant stream of consciousness rants. served its purpose, diminishing returns, ended. good business practice.
