The defense will request any and all video/audio of the incident via a discovery motion. The Police cannot and will not release body cam footage before the defense gets it.

Yep. The president and former, their media and some in their base, are using this attack for political purposes. One would think many in the left base would focus on that and want them to stop. But apparently all they can think about is what those on the right say.

So making jokes about an 82 year old man being viciously attacked by a hammer is on Biden? Doesn't matter if you're Dem or Rep, no one should be made the butt of jokes, especially the victim of a horrible crime. I really don't understand the mindset of some of the people in this country.
To put it in perspective, think of all the comments and jokes from the left--including from Pelosi's daughter--when Rand Paul was viciously attacked to the point where he still has health problems to this day. His attacker was cheered by the left as a hero, with people asking "when was he going to finish the job." There were many, many comments at the time from the left, all nasty.
When the left lowers the bar of common decency that far, it isn't reasonable to expect the right to be the ones to raise it back up where it used to be.
What is more not okay are the jokes made about Pelosi.
Who cares?
For decades the left has been playing dirty ... DJT made it alright for the right to hit back.
