Many nurses and doctors make more per-hour than they make all month in many countries, so no wonder the USA spends 4,472% more than Albania and 5,186% more than Tunisia and yet they have much longer and healthier lives than Americans.

Absolutely hilarious, how America spends 4,472% of Albania and 5,186% more than Tunisia and they live much longer than Americans.

Nurses in America make $250 an hour and for physicians the sky is the limit and Physicians working for the government can expect 20 million dollars worth of pension.

Not only that, they smoke more too. Albanians and/or Tunisians are twice as likely to smoke as Americans.

Really underscores how obesity is killing this country.

Lifespan is more a function of eating well than anything else and the USA diet is probably the worst in the world. Americans also drive their car everywhere and don't walk enough.

As far as our medical care, we have great care if you can afford it but it does seem to me that the medical business just looks at you as a cash cow to milk with tests, pharmaceuticals, and other procedure to keep the money flowing.

One thing is certain, we pay far too much for what we're getting and the Unaffordable Care Act that Obama and his team dreamed up is horrible.

Yeah, as horrible as smoking is to one's health, obesity is worse.

Obesity is part of the left's body acceptance fad right now so prepared to get cancelled for bringing this topic up. It's also one of those things that crosses political parties. Indeed, health care is just a sign of the cancerous corruption that infects all the institutions in our country. It's what happens when large empires become so bloated their end is near.

Maybe we should lock down all of our obese in a gym and feed them 1 healthy meal per day for a year or two, great idea?

I've been lucky enough to spend good bits of time in Switzerland, Northern Italy and a little less in Austria, The Czech Republic and Japan over the years..............living like a peasant - lots of walking and or very hard work, relatively less food and certainly much, much less boxed garbage leads to long life.

The average 60yo Swiss grandmother is in better shape than the average US millennial or Zoomer.
