Another one of DJT's "very fine people" heading for jail. It's a good day for democracy.

That part was included in the original indictment. Link to download at bottom here.

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/leade...2020%2C%202021.

For example, on page 16 of US vs Rhodes et al, it talks about the specific hotel they chose for this. Details in there talk about the various times Rhodes bought guns and similar equipment, quotes things he said, etc.

After reading some of the actual court filings, etc., I am personally convinced the outcome overall of this trial was correct. There were all sorts of people there that day at the Capitol:

people just there to protest/go to a rally and didn't do anything bad,

yahoos who got caught up in it and made stupid choices like going into the Capitol and more

general bad actors like John Sullivan, the man people love to trot out as proof that Antifa did it, even though he's the sole name that is ever thrown out as proof and if you look at his history, it shows he's more into creating chaos no matter the side, and possibly his brother doing the same.

and then the actual serious stuff like Rhodes and Co.

I have a hunch the Rhodes & Co. conspiracy may have been part of the real main event: alternate electors. There are still questions connected to that part that haven't really been answered yet. Time will tell, hopefully.

Only Rhodes and Meggs 2 out of the 5 were found guilty of seditious conspiracy. Those were the two who got on the stand tried to explain to the jury how they were waiting for Trump to call for civil war.

Interesting how only 2 of the 5 were convicted of Seditious Conspiracy. All 5 were convicted of obstruction of an official proceeding. They could all receive a 20 year sentence. I'm sure there will be appeals.

Look at Steve Bannon. Sentenced to 4 months and allowed to be free until the appeal process is complete. Will the same happen with the Oath Keepers? I think Trump will pardon them all if he is re-elected. Criminals who do his bidding get a free pass.

I think there is so much we likely will never learn because (like the Kennedy assassination) there were government employees involved

Trump supporter and former Secret Service higher up Anthony Ornato, (the one who:took leave of absence to go to work in the West Wing and was in the car with Trump on 1/6) testified for 2nd time yesterday to the 1/6 committee after resigning from SS to protect his pension and make it easier to refuse to testify… if you think he was totally honest then I have a bridge to sell you…

Unlikely they be let free until the appeal like Bannon who was convicted of minor offence not even a felony these guys were armed with guns and promoted violent attack. I think they will get 20 years with conviction of both. The others who were convicted of obstruction of an official proceeding sentence 5 years these 2 will get 15 for sedition. Rhodes is 56 years old Meggs is 53 they be in the mid 70's when they get out of federal prison which no parole.

Are they ?

While Raz Simone (former warlord of the CHOP zone) has many other legal issues , none are sedation related.

Can't find much about any of the people that were arrested, although, the then mayor Durkan recommended that charges not be filed, and declared the insurrection as a "unlawful protest".

"Officers arrested at least 44 people on Wednesday for failure to disperse, obstruction, resisting arrest, and assault. However, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said she recommended the city not file charges against misdemeanor arrests from Wednesday morning."

Seems like the CHOP zone inhabitants were ready for battle. Improvised spike strips, people driving around in cars with weapons, and armor. One just can't call what happened on J6 an insurrection while ignoring the CHOP zone, if one does they are a hypocritical partisan hack.

What do you value more our US capital, or CHOP zone?

Laws are laws, there were more deaths, injuries, and costs to Seattle than in D.C.

Yes, what happened on J6 was a huge embarrassment, and those that lost their heads and thought it was a good idea to riot should be held accountable. There was no danger of our democracy being lost, or the election not being certified.

The bias is undeniable. One was called a "summer of love" the other "the darkest day in history".
