According to Musk himself if the account has (parody) in the name, it should be left alone. But several Musk (Parody) accounts have been banned. Poor little snowflake.
When the richest, arguably most influential man on the planet is called a poor little snowflake by some anonymous nobody on the internet. Lol
As mentioned you can mute anyone you want on there. And that makes it funny when some of the people who were muted by Elon said, "I thought you said Free Speech!!!!" and they started going crazy.
Muting is quite different from silencing or suspending an account. The Leftists on there just didn't get it.
I've used Twitter for many years but I mostly follow news outlets. It presents a handy aggregate of headlines from different sources I can scan quickly, no matter where I am, and then investigate further if I'm interested. Local news, market news, sports news, etc. I find it useful mostly for that.
I joined a few days ago. I wish they had an ignore feature. The leftist trolls are out of hand. I haven't started replying to any posts yet. It doesn't seem very conducive to conversation like City-Data. Mostly one liners and links to news articles which I have already read since I review the news websites before I go to social media.
You can block them. On each 'tweet', there are 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the 'tweet'. Click on that, you get a menu. "Block @whatevertheycallthemselves" Done.
Deactivating and blocking/suspending are different things. Deactivations are user initiated.
