We are all losing. Both parties pandering to their extreme bases, a current President who's an embarrassment when he opens his mouth, a previous President ditto, staggering sums of money spent on elections, and a non-functional legislative branch.
We're all losing.
Not all of us. Those at the very top are doing great.
If Trump were elected serving one term, nothing accomplished, could have upheaval. He has to much ego.
Maybe grand pa Biden,Ha Ha or whatever you call her Harris!!
Because teen pregnancy rates have been dropping. That doesn't happen by accident. That's a result of increased education about birth control and increased access to it.
So because you have a chart, you think I'm lying about sex ed in Florida. Here is one more link, for all the states, so you can see that not all states teach comprehensive sex ed. https://www.wfla.com/news/florida/ho...n-every-state/
Florida keeps getting talked about, but New York doesn't get enough attention. ALL 4 Long Island seats have gone red. DCCC Chair Sean Maloney himself lost a seat that Biden won by +10.
Zeldin came within 5 points of Hochul, compared to Cuomo's 2018 victory of 23 points. It is plausible that Zeldin, despite coming short of winning, help these down ballot House races.
I guess Democracy is only good when liberals win elections?
When Republicans win, then Democracy is "under attack" according to the big media propagandists.

I don’t know as I’ve never been interested enough to research it, but I was told that a lot of the Florida Man stereotype was because Florida’s privacy laws are fairly lax, so it’s far easier to get ahold of stories like this in Florida than anywhere else.
Although Florida does have a certain vibe to it which kind of makes it more plausible than most places for Florida Man to be a thing.
I live in South Carolina, and lots of folks have moved here from the north, especially NJ and in my conversations with some of them, the main reason is the high taxes and high cost of living. And this was years ago before the pandemic, and they stated that their retirement money goes a long way down here compared to where they moved form.
NY here and it's pretty likely I'll head to SC for the same reasons that were mentioned plus wanting to get away from the blue machine that's eating us alive up here..
If that's what you think happened, you'd have to assume Independents are anti-abortion as Abrams made abortion her top issue. But that doesn't appear to be true. Independents favor pro-choice and most would have voted for Abrams because of that.
Not necessarily it could be that the independents don’t really care that much about abortion, one way, or the other and that they voted on other qualities. Maybe Abrams talked too much about abortion and not other issues enough. Maybe they felt that things are going well in Georgia and preferred the incumbent, Kemp. And maybe they didn’t like Walker’s statements and claims and didn’t trust him. It’s hard to tell because like the label implies, independents vote independent of party beliefs. There is no one description of what independent voters want in a candidate. If there was, they would be a political party.
