No it hasn't. It wasn't that long ago that New York was a competitive state for both parties. Heck, the Republicans controlled the New York senate for most of the last decade.

I'm old enough to remember when the Democrats ruled the south and California was a reliably Republican state. Political alignments shift around -- never say never.

The war on abortion is what ruined it.

Hope it was worth it.

We have a populace that was dumb enough to think that disgusting practice was important enough to throw their futures away. Blame the idiot voters.

Say whatever you want, but this issue causes more moderate mainstream people to vote democrat.

Republicans winning elections is far more important to the survival of this country than abortion. Period.

Women will always find a way to get an abortion. However, since gender reassignment surgery appears to be allowed on under aged teenagers in Washington then so should abortions.

Your point is well taken...but it's not "dumb enough"...it's "evil & depraved enough".
There is no greater barbarity than wantonly executing innocent human beings. Doing it to babies during gestation is the epitome of that degenerate conduct.

And four seats in their Congressional delegation in a cycle where Dems thought they'd net one after redistricting supposedly eliminated a GOP district.

The practice may be disgusting, but preventing women from going through the practice who have been rvped is even more disgusting which is why so many came out.

There’s something called precedent. People like yourself wouldn’t just stop with that “practice”. I’m sure there are other things you believe should be done that will affect women’s livelihoods.

Like another poster said, hope it was worth it.

Sexual assault, incest, risk of the Mothers' life...that creates a "self-defense" scenario.
We allow people to kill others in self-defense...but not to kill innocents.
Few do not allow for these "self-defense" exceptions...and they make up a very small % of babies snuffed during gestation.
Most kill their babies simply because they consider them to be undesirable, for whatever reason...and there is no act that is more selfishly depraved than that.
