I agree with you, Mike. He ran this time for re-election and it's a four-year stint. He should carry though on those four years and then focus on the future. I don't like it when governors decide in the middle of their term to change directions. I really hope Newsom will do the same. He was just re-elected so he should carry through on those four years and then, after that, do what he's been aiming for since he was mayor of SF.

I just turned on FOX News and they are clearly pivoting from Trump to DeSantis. He is their new golden boy and Trump is being treated liked a used house slipper.
Fox never liked Trump in the first place. They tried to undermine his candidacy in 2015. Not surprising they are flipping to DeSantis. DeSantis’s strong showing in Florida even among minorities is a good sign.
